Moon Goddess Gypsum Glow In The Dark Altar Statue
The Moon Goddess is a lunar deity associated with or symbolizing the moon.
The moon is associated with the divine femine as in many tribal societies the feminine cycles were linked to the phases of the moon. The Moon was important in ancient calendars, helping people to measure time and to determine when the best time was for planting and harvesting crops. Many of the lunar Goddesses, like Hecate and Cerridwen are also associated with magic and the intuitive nature of women.
This Beautiful Moon Goddess statue is made from Gypsum with beautiful carved swirls. She is holding the Crescent moon in hands drawing down the moon for us to behold a part of her knowledge, her fertility of life, and magickal bliss.
She will sparkle her magick upon you. As you can see in the photos she glimmers in the sunlight. I have painted her with glow in the dark pigment mixed with Golden Glitter acrylic paint. Each intricate swirl along with the moon has been painted with purple, and golden glitter acrylic paint along with her Circlet.
She has been adorn with stones at her feet of Blue Onyx, Fluorite, and Crystal Quartz, then sealed with Crystal Clear Acrylic to protect her.
In the dark, or under black light she will illuminate magickally lighting your path.
She is 6 1/2" tall, and 2 1/2" wide.
