The Wood has been cured with German Chocolate Cake Scented Oil, Then it is Sealed with Acrylic not only to weather proof it, but also so the wood would not be oily, and would trap that wonderful smell in!
At my Local Shop Grand Opening I displayed my Wind Chimes outside with some of my other pretty's in order to display to the public what kind of treasures they would find inside. People would ask what that wonderful smell was. They couldn't believe it when I told them the Wind Chimes were scented until they went and smelled each one.
The Horseshoe is connected to a lovely wood branch which came from my pear tree that died. I stripped the bark away from the wood in order to reveal the lovely wood underneath.
The Branch is wrapped in lovely Gemstones, Wooden, Acrylic and Glass Beads, in the colors of Copper, Bronze, Brown, and Red.
Gemstones included in this piece is Gold Stone (aka Sun Stone), and Red Jade.
The top Features a lovely Piece as the Focal Point that has such a unique design.
It kinda Reminds me of a turtle shell.
The Chimes are Bamboo, and contains a total of 8 Bamboo Chimes.
in between the chimes you will find more lovely bead work trickling down containing the same stones that knock against the chimes creating music. At the end of each string of gems you will find Amber Sea Glass.
This Chime gives off such a lovely Unique musical sound!!
The Wind Chime is approximately 12" wide and 19 1/2" long
