Saraswati, “the flowing one”, was an ancient goddess of the Saraswati (Sarasvati) River, a river sacred to the ancient Aryans. She embodies many qualities: she suggests the sacredness of rivers or of water in general she is said to bestow fertility and riches, for her waters enrich the land so it can produce like clear water, she represents purity Saraswati is associated with sound;as Vak she is the goddess of river-like streaming speech she is the goddess of learning she is patroness of the arts she is the mythological inventor of Sanskrit she is the consort of Brahma

I made this Shrine for one of my dear friends, and longest repeat customer Mary.

♥ ♥ I decided to make these adorable statues using crystals herbs, resins, oils and an old porcelain tea set I had. This tea set has been sitting for years just collecting dust so I decided to give them a purpose.

This Teacup and Saucer is from the 1930's - 1940s and made in China with dainty flowers, and gold leaf. These China tea cups and saucers are pretty expensive for just 1 set and are prized collectibles! I have had them in my own personal collection for 10+ years.

♥ The inside and around the base is adorn with the corresponding stones to best suit Saraswati and her Mystical powers. Stones of Iceland Spar, Blue Onyx, and Fluorite was used. It also contains Dried Lilac Flowers from my bush to bring peace to the home, and keep calm energies within. Also adorn with the herb of Jasmine for love, and to increase the energies of the stones used.

♥ This Shrine has also been infused with my Five Waters Peace Water to increase the peaceful energy, and work with Saraswati's Water Element.

Everything is permanently attached together including the teacup to the saucer, and sealed.
