This painting was done by my 13 yr old son Ethan.
This is a special request painting reserved for Mary.

Ganesha (Ganesh) is the Hindu deity who is invoked at the beginning of new undertakings, as he has the power to remove obstacles and clear the way for success. The divine force stills the rational mind and its doubts, forcing one to look beyond outer appearances. Thus Ganesha creates the faith to remove all obstacles, forcing one to look beyond form, removing doubts and pointing out the spiritual side of everything.

Painting is done on a 16X20 slim Canvas with Velcro wall safe hanging removable tape on the backside for easy hanging. Each painting is signed by son EMC.

This lovely lightly Scented Cinnamon Jewelry Box I designed using a contemporary art image that was transferred to the wood.

It has a wood burned frame around the Red Dragon art, with beautiful wood burned Runes around the box with a Moon and Star.

The Runes burned on the box where chosen for the attributes that best fits those of the Dragon.

Strength, Protection, and Warrior

The wood has been cured with Cinnamon Leaf Oil and dried leaving a lovely soft scent.

Inside you will find 5 Wooden burned Viking Runes.

These Car Air Freshener's are Long Lasting.
I designed these and they are 100% handmade, hand cut, with handmade scent blocks in the center filled with natural and essential oils.

They include elastic string and are ready to hang.

You can Even hang them in your cubical at Work to freshen your area! The girls I work with ordered Custom ones over the Holidays because they liked my personal one so much!

I used a beautiful Contemporary Art Photo in this Batch with the scene of a Red Dragon wrapped around a Red Rose.

These air fresheners will not pollute the air you breathe as they contain 100% Natural, and Essential oils to freshen and neutralize Oder.

The scent blocks are designed to hold a lot of oil inside the block and WONT leak out! They are designed with Felt, Moss, and Cotton. The Scent Blocks act as a filter Keeping the oil in but releasing the scent. Resulting in a long life span of fresh air!

Plus you are cutting down on trash since they dont need replaced as often as store bought ones do.

Each Freshener is bagged and refrigerated to keep it fresh!

During our Testing faze of these a few months ago at 1 month of testing they were still going strong.

Ive included photo's of my personal freshener of this scent that I use. Photo's show it hanging and sitting on my defrost window vent. I been using it now for 2 weeks and its still cinnamony strong!

This lovely Nag Champa Scented Jewelry Box I designed using a contemporary art image that was transferred to the wood.

Concealed Revealed Art Auction for Battered Woman

I am Currently working on a piece that will be donated to the YWCA for the Concealed Revealed Art Auction in effort to stop violence against Woman.
This opportunity that has been presented to me is a great honor especially since I am a battered woman of the past.
I can relate to these woman in so many ways.
When I was 15 yrs old I met that someone special I thought. By the time I turned 16 I was convinced to do things I never would of done. Not only did it hurt me but also my family. I then became pregnant with my daughter Myranda. When living with him he tried to push me off the roof of the apartment building we lived in when I was 3 months pregnant.
Remembering what my mother had taught me and remembering she herself was also a battered woman her words rang in my mind. NEVER LET A MAN LAY HIS HANDS ON YOU!
I fought back and saved not only my life but my unborn child's life.
Through lots of counseling, and restraining orders against him I was able to escape.
Her Biological maker (only professional words I can find) has not seen her since she was 2.
He had lost his rights because of physical and verbal abuse twards her. He also had kidnapped her 3 seperate times.
Now I am 32 and married to a wonderful man for 10 years now. He adopted my daughter when she was 5.
It took me years but with the help of my husband I was able to go places alone once again without fear.
We now have a total of 3 wonderful children and I can truly say I am happy.

I hope this story helps inspire woman in a desperate situation to seek help.
I did and you can to!

I will post the necklace I have designed for this charity once it is complete so you all can see. Below is a brief summary of the event.

Concealed Revealed art auction to benefit the YWCA Center for Safety and Empowerment, an organization here in Topeka that provides free emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy and other services to over 3,000 victims of domestic and sexual violence each year.

The Concealed Revealed Art Auction, scheduled this year for April 23, was conceived by a group of Washburn University art students in 2003 as a way to involve the art community in the effort to stop violence against women.  Check out this site for additional Information and to see some of the artist I will be listed there after I deliver my piece for the cause www.ywcatopeka.org.
